The Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment is an international flagship experiment to unlock the mysteries of neutrinos. DUNE will be installed in the Long-Baseline Neutrino Facility, under construction in the United States. DUNE scientists will paint a clearer picture of the universe and how it works. Their research may even give us the key to understanding why we live in a matter-dominated universe — in other words, why we are here at all.
For the Cooling Tower and Pump systems required for cooling, EATON DH1 was the perfect solution to provide the FermiLab group with the proper diagnostics and monitoring capabilities. TCI Harmonic mitigation was included after a thorough harmonic analysis.
20 various pumps, fans and cooling towers were installed with Eaton DH1 as the VFD of choice for ease of control and startup.
Newly Renovated kitchen and culinary floor - EATON DH1 with bypass was utilized for the state of the art kitchen exhaust systems. Ease of interlock and control for the variable flow kitchen exhaust was achieved through the backbone that is included on every DH1. TCI dV/dT filters were utilized for the long runs to the motors along with passive mitigation for the AHU.
Pool room AHU upgrades for energy efficiency called for a new control and interface with the equipment. The EATON DH1 was selected by the Chicago Park District.
Lab Exhaust System installed for new lab exhaust fans and filter housings. The EATON DH1 was selected by the U of C.
